2013 Collector's Basket
The final order for 5th edition collector's basket for the 2013 Clark County 4-H Fair will be placed
July 31st. If you are interested in ordering a basket, please contact the office at 256-4591.

Indiana State Fair
As a reminder, all 4-H H&P, Pygmy Goat and Llama State Fair Exhibitors are required
to hand carry a confirmation of their Animal Enrollment through the online system to Check-In at the Indiana State Fair.

Countdown to Fair...
14 days until fair... Congrats to the winners of the Bicycle Rodeo: Matthew McKay, Grand Champion, and Samantha Smith, Reserve

National Youth Science Day was held on October 23rd at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds. Millions
of young people across the nation becam scientists for the day for the sixth annual 4H National Youth Science day. This annual
event seeks to spark an early youth interest in science and future science careers, and to
reclaim the nation’s position of leadership in scientific exploration. As part of 4H NYSD, youth participated in
4H Maps & Apps: the 2013 National Science Experiment, learned more about Astronomy and Entomology. NYSD was sponsored
by the Clark County Adult 4H Leaders.

Purdue Making a Difference
purpose of this organization shall be to encourage and promote the use of better agricultural and home economics practices
among the youth of Clark County in the State of Indiana by devising ways and means of assisting, planning, financing, and
conducting of 4-H club agricultural and home economics enrollment and exhibits, and providing premiums there-for and educational
trip awards and expenses thereof, and the doing of any other thing or things conductive to the progress of the youth of said
county in agricultural, horticultural, and home economics pursuits, development, and attainments.”
