Come out and support Clark County 4-H, the local food pantries and your own health by participating in the 2016 Clark County 4-H Color Me Green Dash.  Walk, Run or Jog with your friends while getting splashed with paint to color your new t-shirt.  Bring at least 2 canned food items and join us June11th at 10:00am at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds  for some fun.  All participants get a t-shirt and sunglasses.  To guarantee you receive your t-shirt and sunglasses the day fo the dash,  download the form at the link below  and mail or drop it off at the Clark County Extension Office located at 9608 Highway 62, in Charlestown, Indiana not later than June 1st.

efficient place for our 4-H families.
You can help support the
Clark County 4-H by purchasing a
new pen or panel.

For the 2016 Clark County 4-H Fair, you will no longer have to do a livestock record sheet to complete your project if you attend a workshop presented for the species you are exhibiting. 
You must attend the workshop, sign-in and stay for the whole event.
***Lama and Horse & Pony exhibitors are still required to complete their record sheets and project handbooks.***
Dates for 2016 Livestock Workshops 
 Sheep     March 23rd  10:00am 
 Beef      April 9th       10:00am 
Rabbit     April 10th  3:00pm
 Swine  April 23rd   10:00am 
Goat   May 14th   10:00am
Dairy    TBD
All workshops will be held at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds and all workshops are free, but please call the Extension Office at 812-256-4591 or email kcarunch@purdue.edu to register in advance so we have enough supplies.

“The purpose of this organization shall be to encourage and promote the use of better agricultural and home economics practices among the youth of Clark County in the State of Indiana by devising ways and means of assisting, planning, financing, and conducting of 4-H club agricultural and home economics enrollment and exhibits, and providing premiums there-for and educational trip awards and expenses thereof, and the doing of any other thing or things conductive to the progress of the youth of said county in agricultural, horticultural, and home economics pursuits, development, and attainments.”
